Call your representatives
* 5calls.org You can use this on your laptop or as an app on your phone.
- put in your zip code
- pick your topic/read/learn more about that topic
- 5calls provides a script
- 5calls provides the numbers (the app will dial the number for you)
* Call the Capitol switchboard 202.224.3121, and they will connect you to your representatives.
Write to your representatives
* Find your representative on google or https://www.house.gov/ and navigate to their page. Find the contact button, fill out their form, and say what you want to say.
* Use Resistbot – text RESIST to 50409
Resisbot is a text service that sends letters to all of your representatives. Learn more about Resistbot here https://resist.bot/
Stop spending money and/or stop spending at those places supporting the regime.
Ideally, we’d all just shut it down. But… people need to eat, need medications or medical help, and some of us need to get to other physical locations for work, etc.
When you do spend on other things, find better alternatives. Here is one source to help:
- Goods United – this app will tell you how the money they make from you is being spent
- A few places to avoid: Amazon, Home Depot, Target … just to get started
